Business Alcohol Beverage Licensing
The Renewal Alcohol Beverage License Application is for businesses that already have an alcohol license issued by the City of Rhinelander. Licenses are issued for the time period of July 1 through June 30 and must be renewed by June 30 of each year. To renew the license the completed application is required to be at the Clerk's Office 15 days prior to the last Common Council meeting before June 30. That Common Council Meeting will be on the 4th Monday of June. Failure to have the competed application in the Clerk's office before 15 days to the Common Council meeting will mean that your license must wait for the next Common Council meeting. Meaning the business will not have a liquor license until after the 2nd Monday in July.
The Original Alcohol Beverage Retail License Application is for new businesses and businesses that purchase existing businesses that already have a liquor license. The completed application is required to be at the Clerk's Office 15 days prior to a Common Council meeting before being approved.
The Schedule for Appointment of Agent Application is for businesses that have a change of listed agent on their original license.
Payment is required upon receipt of the alcohol license.
