Emergency Medical Services

About Us
In August of 2010 the Rhinelander Fire Department took over operation of all emergency medical responses in the city of Rhinelander. The department has 16 paramedics, 2 advanced EMT's, and 2 EMT's.   Our EMT's and Paramedics have years of experience and education. Some are certified instructors through the Wisconsin Technical College System.  The department provides these services with three ambulances; a 2021 Demers ambulance mounted on a Ford chasis and 2 Horton ambulances mounted on a 2010 Dodge chasis.
